Making the Band 4 Season Finale: Is it the Beginning of the End of Danity Kane?

Does Diddy really kick Aubrey out of Danity Kane? It sure seemed liked it at the end of the season finale of MTV's Making the Band 4. With less than 20 minutes left of the episode, Diddy has a meeting with Danity Kane to discuss the future of the group that ends on a sour note for Aubrey.

The beginning of the episode was fun and happy. The girls of Danity Kane and the guys of Day 26 enjoy an all-expense paid trip, courtesy of Diddy, to Cabo San Lucas. Danity Kane and Day 26 have fun in Mexico while Donnie Klang stays in the NYC to promote his album, Just a Rolling Stone. Danity Kane and Day 26 swim with dolphins, the groups celebrate Robert's 24th birthday and all is good in the hood.

After a few days in the sun, Danity Kane and Day 26 along with Donnie meet with Diddy for a meeting in New York City. The meeting starts with a lot of koombaya and praise from Diddy. He congratulates all of the groups on their successful albums and Making the Band Tour. After the boys are excused from the meeting, it's time to get to the nitty gritty with the Danity Kane gals.

First, Diddy addresses Andrea directly. I was shocked to learn that she once wanted out of the group. Her reasons: She believes that everyone's focus has changed. Other members of Danity Kane want to act and do other things outside of the group, and Andrea just wants to be a member of Danity Kane and sing.

Then, big mouth Aubrey gives Diddy her take on the reality of the group. She expresses her concern with what she believes to be improper management as well as Diddy's attempt to make Dawn a solo star. Aubrey believes that Diddy is manipulating and keeping secrets when it comes to his vision for Dawn as well as Danity Kane. Diddy sets her straight and reminds her that if she doesn't like the way that he manages his businesses, then she can leave. I believe he said something about "the beauty of America" and that Aubrey doesn't have any "shackles."

After Aubrey finally shuts up, Dawn gives a piece of her mind. She admits that there are clicks within the group. Viewers know the obvious click between D. Woods and Aubrey, also known as Ebony and Ivory. Dawn also points out how Danity Kane doesn't always have five members at shows, red carpet events and other events. Whether it's Aubrey doing her Broadway thing or D. Woods and Andrea doing their own things; sometimes Danity Kane is a four member group.

Diddy goes back and forth with, you guessed it, Aubrey, on more issues and eventually lets her know that he no longer wants her to be in the group. He doesn't appreciate the way that she talks to him, and I can't blame him. Diddy is the boss and for some reason, Aubrey seemly forgets that.

Of course, MTV throws a curve ball, and there's going to be a part two of the Making the Band 4 finale. After this episode, complete with dramatic thunder and rain during Diddy's meeting with the girls, we have to wait utnil next week to see the conclusion to this Danity Kane drama.

'America's Next Top Model' Episode 5 Recap

The America's Next Top Model contestants participate in a photo shoot portraying natural disasters that affect the LA area. The girls were on earthquake and sand storm sets and others of the like.

The best of the group this week is Samantha, with her name being called first "to continue to be in the running towards becoming America's Next Model." She definitely improved this week, coming up from the bottom two to number one.

Joslyn and Clark are the last ones standing in front of the judges this week. It's interesting that Clark's name wasn't called, because she was the best last week. It looks like Clark got a little too confident, because she was sent back to the house to pack for South Carolina. She ends up going home, because she needs to get out of "that pretty thing," according to Tyra.

Next week on America's Next Top Model, Tyra teaches the girls the art of the signature pose and Elina has problems with "loosing control."

Last Leg of the Making the Band Tour

Danity Kane, Day 26 and Donnie Klang perform their last show of the Making the Band Tour during last night's episode of MTV's Making the Band. The final tour performance was in Los Angeles, and all of the groups went out with a bang.

Donnie, Q and Brian, following in Willie's footsteps, rip off their shirts during their performances! After Donnie takes his shirt off, he throws it into the audience and the girls go crazy. When Q and Willie rip their shirts off, the girls go crazy again! Willie prepared for his Chippendale moment by massaging his body with oil. All I have to ask is: Does Willie have a girlfriend?

Danity Kane brings all of the guys from Day 26 and Donnie Klang on stage for lap dances during their show.

Also, during last night's episode of Making the Band, Danity Kane shoots their fourth music video, featuring Missy Elliot, for Bad Girl. Day 26 shoots a music video as well, for their single Since You Been Gone.

Diddy only has one interlude about his weight loss, or lack of thereof, during a commercial break.

As you can see by my few words above, last night's episode wasn't that interesting. I'm excited for next week's Making the Band, which looks to be very entertaining. In the preview, I heard Diddy's voice say, "She's not gonna be in Danity Kane. Would you like to go with her?" Ouch!

One of my fellow bloggers wrote that Aubrey was kicked out of Danity Kane and after D. Woods tried to rise to Aubrey's defense, Diddy tried to kick D. Woods out of the group too! Could this be a rumor, or is it actually the truth?

Next week's episode of MTV's Making the Band, to air Tuesday, October 7 at 9pm, is the season finale. Diddy has a meeting with the girls and asks about the future of the group. He wants to know what's really going on. Dawn seems to be the first to speak up, as she says something about the five girls not trusting each other. Shannon and Andrea look like they are on the verge of crazy tears, and Diddy has an expression on his face like he is fed up with what he feels is a bad situation. I can't wait to watch this episode!
