It was interesting to hear what each cast member had to say about all of the drama that has occurred since The Hills, this Laguna Beach spin-off, landed on MTV. I was fed new details on some of the events that were featured throughout past seasons.
Remember when Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler broke up for the second (and last) time? Turns out, bad boy Jason may have cheated on Lauren again! OMG! This is the same boy, yes "boy," that Lauren decided to spend the summer with in Malibu, instead of going to Paris! This is why I really hesitate to do a reality show, not that I've been given an offer. It's one thing to make really bad mistakes, but it's another when all of your bad mistakes are documented and repeatedly shown on a major cable network! I'm sure, to this day, Lauren regrets her Paris mistake and wishes MTV would loose that footage.
A special about the most memorable moments of The Hills wouldn't be complete without a segment on Lauren and Jason's alleged sex tape. Heidi Montag asserts that she and her fiance, Spencer Pratt, had absolutley nothing to do with the start of the rumor that Lauren has a sex tape that exist. Heidi's say on the matter is weird, because I clearly remember a past episode of The Hills when Brody Jenner admits to Lauren that Spencer was the eye behind that storm. Who knows? Perez Hilton credits himself for being the first to have the info on the alleged sex tape, but he won't disclose his source. Dag. I guess that's a mystery that will never be solved.
There's certainly a lot of drama to look forward to in the upcoming season of The Hills, to begin Monday, August 18 at 10pm on MTV. Lauren is still living in her million dollar, Hollywood home with roommates Audrina Patridge and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth. When the last season dropped off, Audrina and Lo weren't the best of friends, and it looks like much hasn't changed. Heidi and Spencer are still giving Spencer's sister, Stephanie Pratt, crap about being Lauren's buddy. I wish Stephanie would listen to Speidi and leave Lauren alone, because it looks like She-Pratt is causing more unnecessary drama for Lauren, just like her big brother did. Whitney Port, Lauren's fellow Teen Vogue intern, is still working for Kelly Cutrone's People's Revolution, and we get to see her on a date with a new man. Also with a new man is Audrina, but we still get to see Justin Bobby. Justin Bobby, the one I think to be the sexiest of any of the men to make their way onto The Hills.
In the words of Perez Hilton, "The Hills is like crack." You just can't get enough of the glamour, the ridiculously expensive clothes, the fancy cars, that wish-I-was-there LA night scene and, best of all, the drama!
The Hills airs on Mondays @ 10pm (EST) on MTV

I have to admit, I love The Hills but I think I liked Laguna Beach better. The Hills definitely has its fair share of drama and really makes for good TV. However, I wonder how much of it is "reality" and how much of it is scripted? Either way, I'll be tuning in.
