Why is Lo So Mean to Audrina?

Tonight's premier episode of the fourth season of The Hills was crazy! Lauren, Audrina, Lo, Whitney, Heidi, Spencer, Justin... the whole cast is back with more conflicts and more outrageousness.

Heidi and Spencer are living together, once again. After stalker boy Spencer convinces Heidi to come home with him from Las Vegas, Heidi decides to work on the relationship with Spencer. Soon after they get home, Heidi's sister, whatever her name is, comes to visit for a brief vacay from Colorado. And guess what? Spencer doesn't approve.

I am so over this thing between Heidi and Spencer. I call it a "thing," because it's not a real relationship. Good men don't do stuff like Spencer to their girlfriends!

Lauren goes on a date with Doug. Who is this fella? Is he semi-famous? Apparently, this is another blast from Lauren's past, as she went to his high school's formal with him, when she was 18. I really need Lauren to stop recycling men, and get some new ones in her life.

The biggest problem of tonight's premier episode of The Hills, is the relationship, or lack thereof, between Lo and Audrina. I can't understand what Lo's problem is. Just the mention of Audrina's name, and Lo gets mad attitude. It doesn't make any sense. What the heck is Lo's problem? This has got to be a jealously issue.

I realize that all we have to go on, is what is aired on the show. We all know that a lot more goes on behind the scenes, but we haven't witnessed Audrina, or heard any gossip, about her doing something bad to Lo. And what about Lo not coming to MTV's premier party for the new season of The Hills? That was definitely shady. I don't want to hear anything about a "pre-planned family vacation." You can spend time with your family any day. How often are you invited to a MTV premier party? I think Lo was dodging questions in reference to her relationship with Audrina.

When Lo initiates a conversation with Audrina about the situation, Lo is so cold and full of negativity. She's not listening to Audrina, and she's almost cutting Audrina off, every time Audrina tries to speak! Maybe someone else can explain Lo's problem to me. Maybe I'm missing something.

Meanwhile, Lauren, once again, is making a mistake with a boy. During Audrina's birthday cookout, Lauren ignores her new guy Doug. Lauren is so busy wasting her time trying to get Lo to be social with Audrina's guests, she doesn't tend to her guy. (Did I mentioned that Lo was complaining about being in the kitchen during the birthday party that she and Lauren decided to host for Audrina?) I hope Lauren learns better lessons about men, by the end of this season.

I can't wait for next week's The Hills. Thirty minutes just isn't enough!

The Hills airs on Mondays @ 10pm (EST) on MTV

I love all things pop culture. I care about everything from who's pregnant with who's baby, to who's the latest teen celebrity (rich brat) to get arrested. My professional background includes PR, which probably explains my need to be in the know about as much as possible when it comes to current events, celebrity gossip and who's doing what on reality shows.
