Making The Band 4: Dance 101

"Boo. Boo. Get off the stage. I want my beep money back," says Mr. Combs, during tonight's episode of Making The Band 4 on MTV. It's down to the final days of rehearsal for the groups' tour, and Diddy is cracking the whip, making sure Donnie Klang, Day 26 and headliners Danity Kane have their shows tight and right.

Diddy wants to know what the groups' performances look like so far. He asks them to give him a sample. First up is Donnie, and he disappoints Diddy in a very bad way. I believe Diddy uses the phrase "white boy from Long Island that can't dance." Needless to say, Donnie quickly finds out that he has a lot of work to do, when it comes to his stage presence and his dancing.

Next up, is Day 26. It seemed as though they were looking alright, until one of the boys makes a mistake and another doesn't know how to recover from the wrong move. It's cutie Qwanell that gets singled out by Diddy. Later, Qwanell and his love interest Dawn, from Danity Kane, talk about the rehearsal mistake and Diddy's reaction to it, over a meal. Of course, Dawn understands, Qwanell realizes he needs to step up his game and he feels better. We then see Qwanell use one of his Saturday nights to rehearse on his own.

After Danity Kane performs for Diddy, he still isn't impressed with the dancing. Particulary, the dancing of two members: Aubrey and Aundrea. It's interesting, because these two have now been with this Making The Band process for quite a few seasons, so you would think that they are at least the best dancers of the group. Well, they're not working it enough for Diddy right now.

Later in the show, we see what happened behind-the-scenes of a TRL appearance by Donnie Klang, Day 26, Danity Kane as well as Diddy. They annouce the start of the Making The Band tour and they promote their albums and singles. Diddy has a talk with Danity Kane that doesn't turn out good.

He singles out Aubrey, yet again, and tells her that he doesn't want Pam Anderson in the group. Diddy refers to her wardrop, the excessive about of makeup she wears and the big hair she demands to have from Bad Boy's glam team. One thing leads to another, and the two get into an aurgument. Why is Diddy always aurguring with a female on the show? First it was Laurie Ann Gibson and now it's Aubrey, yet again.

By the end of this episode of Making The Band, all of the groups better their performances. Donnie improves his dance moves as well as Day 26. After Danity Kane give Diddy a second preview of their show for the Making The Band tour, Aubrey has a one-on-one with Diddy to discuss their professional relationship.

Of course, like a good old fashion drama, they work it out and end their little pow wow with a hug. Once again, all is good in the hood... well, for now.

In the preview for next week's episode of Making The Band 4, Laurie Ann gets in a fight with one of the boys from Day 26. Here we go again...

Stay tuned!

Making the Band airs Tuesdays @ 10pm (EST) on MTV

I love all things pop culture. I care about everything from who's pregnant with who's baby, to who's the latest teen celebrity (rich brat) to get arrested. My professional background includes PR, which probably explains my need to be in the know about as much as possible when it comes to current events, celebrity gossip and who's doing what on reality shows.
