Show Stopper Alert

I am so excited! We are a week away from the premiere of the third season of Making the Band 4 on MTV. Tonight, three of the cast members give a preview of what's to come. It wasn't that interesting, so, instead, here's a rundown of the Making the Band groups and solo act that are featured on this Diddy takeover.

Let's start with Danity Kane. This female pop sensation is made up of Aubrey, D. Woods, Aundrea, Dawn and Shannon.

Aubrey is the feisty one, and she's from Cali. I'll bet that most viewers love her for her style and sassy attitude. Last season, Diddy had a one-on-one with her about the bad publicity she receives. If you've been to her MySpace page, you'll see Kim Kardashian and that chocolate girl from the Pussy
Cat Dolls in many of her photos. If I were hanging with them, I'd probably have bad publicity too!

D. Woods is that cool chick from the ATL. She's one of the stronger singers of the group. When she has camera time, she's usually making the audience laugh.

Aundrea is a cutie pie and hails from California as well. I believe it's two seasons ago, when Aundrea's boyfriend dumps her like a bad habit while she's in New York recording and doing her music thing. I'm sure, after certified platinum and gold albums, that stupid boy is thinking, "I really shouldn't have let that one go."

My absolute fav is Dawn, a true southern gal from New Orleans. Yes, she was affected by Hurricane Katrina, but it's easy to forget that, because she is so strong. I love her voice, and she can really bust a move.

Shannon is the married one of the group and the most quiet. She rarely gets camera time, but she seems cool. Shannon's entertainment background includes multiple seasons as a dancer for a pro basketball team on the west coast.

Day 26 is Bad Boy's five member, R&B group. In perfect harmony are Mike, Brian, Robert, Qwanell and Willie. I don't know too much about the fellas, but here are some brief bios.

Big Mike is the sexy-eyed one that lost a whole bunch of weight to show his commitment to being in the group. It looks like he lost some of that commitment as he gained back some of the weight.

Brian is the hothead. We can count on him to start a fight with the other boys. Of course, the arguments are meaningless and you can never remember how they started.

In my real opinion, Robert is the odd ball of the group. I think Diddy could have let this one go. He doesn't fit. Robert is a fantastic singer, but he just... he just... he just doesn't fit. That's all I have to say about him.

We know Qwanell, also known as "Q," for hooking up with Dawn. He's a young one. He mentioned that before he was picked for the band, he was working at McDonald's. Hey Q! Can I get some fries with that shake?

Willie, oh Willie. Willie is my favorite. It has nothing to do with his sexy voice, sexy body, his level of maturity or his amazing style. Wait. Yes it does. Have you seen this tall glass of water? Oh Willie, you so fine. You so fine, you blow my mind! Last season, I think the camera caught him on the phone with a girlfriend. (Enter sad face here.) I wonder if they're still together.

Those are the two groups, and then there's Donnie Klang. Donnie is the white boy from Long Island, NY that is "better as a solo star." His talent is okay. Viewers probably remember him best for the episode when he goes on a date with Aubrey. Fifteen mintues after they end their date, he goes out with a different chick. He and Aubrey even kissed each other good night! Perhaps the drama is good for Donnie, to keep him on the show. So far, Bad Boy has released Danity Kane's second album and Day 26's debut album, but Donnie only has a single out, and I think the single is only available on iTunes. Has anybody heard it? Does anybody know the name of it?

So there you have it: The cast of Making the Band 4. I can't wait to watch next week. Even choreographer Laurieann Gibson makes a comeback this season!

Boom boom kack!

Making the Band 4 airs on Tuesdays @ 9pm (EST) on MTV

I love all things pop culture. I care about everything from who's pregnant with who's baby, to who's the latest teen celebrity (rich brat) to get arrested. My professional background includes PR, which probably explains my need to be in the know about as much as possible when it comes to current events, celebrity gossip and who's doing what on reality shows.
