No Bitchassness Allowed: Making the Band is Back for a New Season on MTV

Forget the girls of Danity Kane, the fellas that make up Day 26 or Donnie Kling Klung Klang. Choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson shows up within the first seven minutes of the premier of MTV's new season of Making the Band 4!

"Let's go muffs!"

We barely see any of the other cast during the premier, since Laurie Ann is back on board to choreograph Day 26's moves for the groups' tour. The looks on the guys' faces when they see Laurie Ann for the first time are priceless!

For those of you who don't know, Laurie Ann and Diddy got into a major cat and dog fight in the last season of Making the Band. Diddy was basically trying to remind Laurie Ann that he's the boss of the show, and Laurie Ann tried to remind Diddy that she can carry her own and is not going to hesitate to give her opinion. According to some gossip articles circulating on the Web about the disagreement, harsh curse words flew between the two and MTV contracts were thrown away. Laurie Ann also was rumored to get the law to help her with the matter!

Apparently, all is good in the hood now, as Laurie Ann has accepted an invitation to be back on the show as one of the choreographers.

So, probably in an effort to maintain ratings, the show focused on Day 26 and their re-established relationship with Laurie Ann, during this hour long season opener of Making the Band 4. Day 26 member, Qwanell, or "Q," was MIA for the first half of the show. He was at home, recovering from getting his tonsils removed, but when he came back, he came back strong, quickly learning the routines.

It's clear that Laurie Ann made an attempt to come back to MTV strong as well. She's way too glam now, with too much makeup and too many hair extensions. I have to admit that she adds a lot of spice to the show, and I'm glad that she's back.

Towards the end of this episode of Making the Band 4, Laurie Ann and Diddy have a brief talk about that infamous last day that they saw each other. They eventually agree to disagree, but we see that there just may be sincere love between the two. Diddy asked Laurie Ann, "Did you miss me?" Laurie Ann, then turns on the waterworks. (I rolled my eyes during this crap.) At the end of the talk, Diddy tells Laurie Ann how much he respects her, tells her that she was missed, blah blah blah, and then they give each other a hug.

Throughout the show, Diddy entertains the audience before and after commercial breaks. One of the things he talks about is his weight gain. All I have to say is, "Eww!" Diddy's Fit Club is definitely needed, so Diddy can get rid of that stomach that he's grown. Looks like Diddy is suffering from that dunlap disease: His stomach done lapped over his belt!

In the season preview of Making the Band 4, we see that Aubrey will give us more conflict to watch when she has another disagreement with Diddy, Brian causes problems, yet again, for Day 26, Donnie still can't dance, Q and Dawn fall in love and Diddy continues to use this show and MTV to promote ALL of his business ventures.

Hold on to your seatbelt, kids. This season of MTV's Making the Band 4 is going to be another rocky ride!

Making the Band airs on Tuesdays at 10pm (EST) on MTV
